About Brit...

Brit Blaise grew up with a deep and abiding love for books. She believes in dark and dangerous heroes; strong women who aren't afraid to think for themselves; head-over-heels love; fairy tale endings and that it's more fun to laugh than to cry, but doing both at the same time is best of all.

Master Storyteller

Brit Blaise is a master storyteller. The characters in Time Thieves jump off the pages and the storyline is both action packed and exciting. The love scenes are so hot you'll be challenged to catch your breath. I hope that this is the beginning of a wonderful new series because I would love to hear Peck's tale. Or Lawzard's. - Two Lips

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve updated my blog. I did, however, post comments on the www.butterscotchmartinigirls.com blog the last two Mondays.

We did it. We sold our beautiful home and moved across country in the caravan from hell. And we made it in three days.

And here we are…in dreary Ohio…sitting in a motel as we play a waiting game to get into the Victorian. Who knew water in a second floor bathroom could cascade uninterrupted all the way to the basement? I once had in mind a story about a heroine living in a dilapidated Victorian, and now I’m living it. Be careful of what you put into the universe!

Not that I’m a heroine. Heroines don’t whine. And I’m shriveled into a ball, sucking my thumb and whimpering.

On the good side, we have a new furnace and central air. The heat works just fine. I imagine I’ll have to wait a good long time to find out about the air-conditioning. It’s been cold and rainy here. Dismal and gray.

Our queen-sized box-springs won’t fit up the stairway. There’s a door upstairs in one of the bedrooms off the porch and Mike says he’s going to try to get it up there over the roof. I’d better call and check on him. I haven’t heard from him for awhile.

Yesterday, we had a few of the rooms rewired and as I laid on the couch with my feet propped up on Mike, trying to contain Parker (14 months and into everything)…we heard a snap coming from the newly finished receptacle. This doesn’t bode well for the future.

Today we’re using our last juncture in the fuse box (technical speak) to run a line from the kitchen to support a microwave. Mike’s overseeing the work while I help Tiff who is sick with the flu. I’m envisioning a plug right where the new cupboards are going in the future. Oh well, in the scheme of things, that’s not a big deal.

Maria will be pleased to know we possibly have a ghost. The day we moved in things were flying through the air and crashing all around me. I have a full-length mirror on a pedestal that has a hidden compartment for jewelry (Yes, I have it. I just don’t wear it.)
that crashed to the floor. The mirror didn’t break, TG. Wouldn’t want to add another seven years to the sentence I’ve already imposed on us by buying the friggin’ house!

I found my camera yesterday so I’ll start taking pictures.

Oh yeah!

A bad time to roll out my Myspace

My life is in turmoil as we are in the process of selling our beautiful mountain home. That in itself is enough to tear my heart out, but we are moving away too. The stress is insane. So if you stop by to check out my blog, forgive my poor welcome. On the bright side, Thoroughly Mannerly Millicent has been chosen as lead book by Avalon Books for April. Maybe that will mend my heart a little.

In Fantasy Quest by Tina Gerow, Astiria Petrey is on vacation at Fantasy Quest Resort. Astiria plays a computer game in her room. She creates an avatar for herself and for her perfect man. The 3-D image she creates heats her blood. The computer names the man Lerik the Warrior. The computer asks how she likes sex. She selects: A total possession of body mind and soul that melds you together with melting passion. The image on the screen changes to a deserted beach. Astiria can feel the wind coming off the water. She suddenly notices she is standing in sand. She is in the computer game! From that moment, her life changes forever. She is attacked by Goblins but Lerik saves her. Lerik wants Astiria. They cannot be together until Astiria completes a quest. Lerik and Astiria fall in love. What will happen when the game ends?

In Guarding the Hellion by Linda Wisdom, Brady Hayes is a dangerous man. When Shar, Lord of the Underworld calls him, he is nervous. The last person who failed Shar went home in pieces. Shar had a job for Hayes: bodyguard for Shar’s baby sister, Raven. Hayes agrees. How hard can it be to watch Shar’s kid sister? When he meets Raven, however, he understands. She is beautiful. He wants her himself. How can he protect her from other men when he cannot resist her charms?

In Mac To The Future by Dakota Cassidy, Jaynie Renfro must keep the contestants in the That’s Amore Hottie Cover Model Contest happy. She hates being surrounded by handsome man-girls. One model stands out from the rest. Mac is nothing like the others. He talks like a knight of the round table, has a great body and he looks at Jaynie like she is the most beautiful woman in the world. Jaynie’s blood boils every time she sees him. She wants him, but she is not permitted to play with the models. Mac has a secret. He is a warrior from another time looking for his magic sword. He is not interested in winning the contest, but one of the contestants has his sword. When he meets Jaynie, however, he finds he is not in a hurry to leave. He wants Jaynie. All he has to do is convince her that he is not like the other models.

In Time Thieves by Brit Blaise, Daken and his team of Borka Time Warriors arrive in the past to try to capture Korin criminals from the future. The Korin change the past and affect the future. Jenny Bender, a security guard, pulls her gun on the Borka thinking they are the thieves she is trying to apprehend. The Warriors turn the tables on her and take her prisoner, but Daken cannot prevent the lust he feels for Jenny. Daken investigates Jenny’s history and finds out that she is destined to die this evening when she surprised thieves. By capturing her, the Borka changed history. Daken knows he should let her be killed, but he does not want Jenny harmed. He decides to take her with him when the Warriors capture the Korin criminals. Will Daken and Jenny be able to be together when their mission is completed or will Daken be forced to kill her to prevent changes to the future?

Warriors Gone Wild is a fantastic anthology, filled with stories to thrill any reader. It has action, adventure, suspense and loads of hot sex. Each story is a winner. I loved this book. These ladies know how to write great stories.
