When I say it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged…it’s an understatement. However, in my defense, I’ve spent the last six month dealing with chemo. I’m finished with that nightmare and on to the next stage of my recovery from breast cancer.

This holiday I have much to be grateful for besides the end of putting poison in my body.  My son is coming from his post at the American Embassy in Jakarta with his oldest son to celebrate the holidays with us. I’ve been decorating since before Thanksgiving!

And listening to Holiday music to enhance the already joyous mood!

It’s ironic that the very first Cave Creek Cowboy story I wrote involved a character with breast cancer.  I’d written the story in memory of my younger sister..little did I know.

Now back to the Holidays…consider having a little Cave Creek Cowboy Christmas!

This is my favorite Cave Creek Cowboy story.  It’s actually two stories in one.  Connie is the most fun I’ve had writing about a cowgirl and I believe it shows!
