There should be a second click to send a post to the trash. Somehow I managed to trash two posts in a matter of seconds.
All of the beautiful open-book covers are gone! The words are gone.
If you were directed to the post by all my twitter friends, you just get a “not found” message. It isn’t you…it’s me.
In my defense I’m sick. If only a box popped asking if I was sure I wanted to delete.
The second post was about showing verses telling…however, if I’ve learned anything in my writing career, it’s to bounce back from lost words.
Everybody loses a chunk of work at one time or another. I’ve had it happen several times. I’m just a little too quick on the click!
I’d probably feel worse about it, if I wasn’t already feeling bad. It’s time to go back to bed and continue reading Pride and Prejudice for the umpteenth time. If I’d staying in bed where I belong, this never would have happened.
Feel free to commiserate…
You poor thing! After everything you’ve been through you shouldn’t have deal with more. Keep you chin up and get well. I saw the post you deleted and it was great!
Brit,
I feel your pain. I have rewrites to do but I don’t want to mess with them when I feel this bad. Going back to bed so I don’t accidently delete my whole manuscript. Feel better!
Pride and Prejudice can make anyone feel better.
Hugs and hope you feel better soon.
