I won!

I won! IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU is the Reader’s Choice winner of the Brava Novella Contest.

I wish Sylvia Day would make a winner button… She was the Reader’s Choice winner in 2004 and made the finalist buttons.

While I wasn’t Kate’s first pick, I didn’t expect to be. My submission was a little depressing when I had two people die within the first 750 pages. However, I got to talk to Kate Duffy…no small thing.

What a great two days.
I learned Cave Creek Cowboy Ménage is the number 1 bestseller for Amber Quill Heat and number 4 for Amber Allure. This is my first foray onto the Allure list, so I’m delighted with the great news…a special thanks to everyone who bought a copy. The Blood Club was released on the 26th of January but made both bestsellers lists too. Number 7 on Amber Heat and number 6 on Amber Allure.

I need to bask in my success this month before it’s over and distant memory.

And once again, I sold copies of every story, all nineteen, and the two above weren’t released yet. I had my best quarter ever with AQ.  I now have twenty-one stories released and two more coming soon…April.

The Cave Creek Cowboy series is seeing a resurgence…I have eight, seven short stories and an anthology of the first five.

Thanks, Michelle. Right before she commented here, I sent Michelle a note telling her I’m a fan…and if I hadn’t voted for my story, hers would’ve been my first choice. In fact, as I told the BMG’s…when I read her entry, I didn’t think I had a chance.

I tried to leave a comment, but couldn’t even though I was signed in to blogger.

I love it when someone says I twist the usual!

    Thanks, Literary Nymphs
